Description of intervention
Kerakoll is world leader in the supply of glues, adhesives and organic materials for the building industry. Torreggiani & C. co-designed and built the technological systems for summer and winter air-conditioning in the “GREEN LAB” — the company’s technological development center, which covers an area of 7,000 m2. The perfect match of cutting-edge technology, sustainable materials, architectural excellence and innovation.
The heat pump system combined with a geothermal field with vertical probes integrated with condensing boilers and refrigeration unit support the summer and winter air conditioning system made with radiant panels on metal false ceiling serving the climate rooms.
The laboratories are equipped with comprehensive workstations with fluids such as compressed air and technical gases.
For Kerakoll, Torreggiani & C. also built the technological systems at the industrial plant in Rubiera (RE), Italy, and the sand drying plant at the Piacenza quarry.
Torreggiani guarantees system maintenance for all plants through a Third Party Management contract, including on-call service.
